well, what’s your background/skill set? I’m a stay-at-home-mom and I was thinking of doing some freelance writing down the road. You could do that. I know people who are in advertising/marketing who do freelance work from home. Check out your local Craigslist to see if there are any opportunities.

Well have you really looked at your finances carefully? Realize if you become a SAHM mom you will likely save on
1.childcare- add up how much you spend on it a month
2.gas/ or transportation- depending now how far you commute this might save you a lot money
3. dry cleaning or extra money for professional clothing
4. lunches out- as a SAHM mother your will likely spend far less on going out
5. dinner out- once again as a SAHM you likely not spend as much on dinners out because cooking will be a bit easier
Furthermore once I stopped working I realized I had time to comparison shop and use coupons. When I was working I rarely had time to shop for a good deal. And many SAHM mothers find it easier to breastfeed and breastfeed longer. That might save you some money on formula,
If you add it up (depending on how much you make now) you might realize that you don’t need any each income (or very little) Good luck on whatever choice you make.
